ABOUT APC

The Association of Professors of Cardiology was organized in 1990 to promote the professional development of its members, to lead the effort to train cardiovascular specialists, and to be a voice of academic cardiology.

Membership in APC is institutional, and includes any of the following at academic hospitals/medical centers:

  • Chief Cardiologists

  • Associate Chiefs

  • Clinical DIrectors

  • Service Line Directors, or

  • Equivalent of the listed above at your institution.

Your membership in APC gives you access to the work we do to advance the field of academic cardiology, including:

  • Panel discussions;

  • Member surveys;

  • Face-to-face peer meeting at AHA;

  • Face-to-face peer meeting at ACC;

  • Research on issues impacting academic cardiology; and,

  • much more.
